want to experience the energy of early Italian music
through practice.
Choir
singers and soloists are equally welcome, but instrumentalists
can also join in, experience the origin of music through
singing and enrich polyphonic singing through their
playing.
The
musical centre for us is the city of Florence.
Madrigals
by Italian composers, but also arias from baroque opera
(from Monteverdi to Vivaldi) come to life. As a special
excursion into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Songs
by the Florence-born composer Francesco Landini are
on the programme.
